I’m Saskia,
I love to read, listen and learn.
I have always chosen to follow what I enjoy doing. I am guided by my inner voice, trusting in the natural ebb and flow of life. Counselling has been my passion long before I had a word to describe it. If our paths cross, it is what was intended.
I provide a present-focused counselling experience. For me, this means supporting clients wherever they are on their healing journey, and helping them to find the strength and courage to keep moving forward, whatever the roadblocks might be. Emphasising empathy and responsiveness, my aim is to guide clients to find more space in their mind and spirit, to live more fully, more peaceful and more present in everyday life.
I am supported by a deep and well-rounded understanding of therapeutic interventions through a Masters of Counselling and Psychotherapy, Masters of Criminology, Bachelor of Psychology, and Diploma of Health Science (Naturopathy).
My background experience is in therapeutic justice, now specialising in complex case management, working with dual diagnosis clients, and some of the most vulnerable, at-risk individuals. This experience supports my ability to provide the presence and openness needed to guide you through your trauma experience.
