What does it mean when a crystal ‘resonates’ with you?

If we look at the generic definition of ‘resonate’, it implies the reverberation of a substance being reinforced by its surrounding environment. For example, when two soundwaves synchronise, they resonate. Taking this principle we then come to understand that the energetics of crystal molecules will synchronise in harmony with our energetic body.

When we are making decisions, we have two governing thoughts. Our logical sphere and our intuitive sphere. Our logical sphere will consider aspects such as cost, durability, usability, necessity and other aspects that are important to consider for physical world issues. Our intuitive sphere is not so complicated. Listening to our intuition can be likened to thought processes that are too quick for our logical sphere to analyse and gives insight into why some intuitive decisions are incomprehensible at the time of their happening. However, if you have ever experienced an intuitive insight come to fruition, you will understand the beauty of listening to it.

Our intuition helps us connect with our current vibration and following your intuition helps raise your vibration. I will explain more deeply what that means in a later post, but for now understand that the lighter emotions (joy, happiness, peace) produce higher vibrations and ideally we want to be at that level. Going back to resonance, crystal vibrations are associated with their properties and this is how they resonate with us. For example, Black Tourmaline resonates strongly with us when we are in need of protection, grounding and security. Its properties resonate with our lower vibration. Similarly, Clear Quartz resonates when we seek clarity, purification and direction. It vibrates in synchronicity with our energetic body and intentions.

Allowing your intuition to guide you, decisions will become easier and harder. Accepting that you are not in control as you once though can be daunting, but it also means there is no indecisiveness.

So when it comes to choosing your crystals, think intuitively, act intuitively and be surprised by expecting the unexpected.
