It’s hard to remember your original intention was to drain the pool, when you’re up to your knees in alligators.
So many situations arise in such a short period of time. The years go by so quickly, yet if we try to remember each day, we realise how many situations we have siphoned through to get to where we are right now. So much can change in an instant simply because we have decided to change direction, to shift perspective. We get so lost in the unexpected circumstances that arise when we are trying to complete a task that the original task is forgotten. How is it that something that seemed so important, something we had to act upon for a period of time, is suddenly forgotten? Did something ‘more’ important arise? Or was this new thing only more chaotic?
As we shift through levels of energy, chaos turns to calm, which again turns to chaos, until we are able to find calm again. A never ending cycle of chaotic calmness, stimulating and shifting our awareness.
So how to find calm and remain there?
Why are we draining the pool? What is our original intention? If we can shift our awareness back to our original intention, then we can recalibrate our current goal. Yes we are up to our knees in alligators, but find the meaning behind the circumstance, how is it helping our original intention? See through these circumstances as a guide to perhaps a more efficient way of draining the pool.
