You are your own creator
Eventually, there is a time where we discover that we are not living the life that we want to be living, and in that moment, we decide to make a change. Not matter how small, tiny increments of change allow us to become a person we are proud to associate with. Every choice made from this discovery is one step closer to the acknowledgement of our own managerial position, the director of our life. This person, we can call the chooser, the higher self, the guide, or simply Frank, someone who is clear, decisive, honest and wise. This person provides reasoning and clarity when uncertainty arises. Frank commitments, Frank choices, Frank opinions. These are the qualities we wish to embody as a person who is in control of their life.
It can be as simple as eating one more piece of fruit than usual, one more glass of water, one less cup of coffee, or as major as joining a running group, moving to another country, breaking off an unsatisfying relationship, but this Frank decisiveness is our doorway to a brighter, clearer future. Indecision is wasted energy. Chaotic, disorganised, and unhelpful. Though indecision is a decision, it is not necessarily a helpful one. Decisiveness enhances our confidence and self-esteem. Integral aspects on the journey of embodying our highest potential. Decisiveness provides more opportunity, it flows.
The first step is always the hardest, but if you can make the first step, there is every chance you may take the next one, and the next one, and the next one. Creating your own life is not easy at the start, but it is highly, highly satisfying. Choosing to take risks in favour of oneself may feel self-centred, but our life is our own. We are only made to feel selfish, and it is false. It is not selfish to want to better oneself in favour of our own passions, this one life we are given should be inspiring, full of joy, a never ending adventure for us to learn and grow.
Perhaps we are uncertain of what our passions genuinely are, and perhaps we need time to discover what we enjoy. This is as simple as looking at what we do in life and whether it make us happy. If you go to yoga once a week, go twice. If you read books, set more time aside for it. If you love to cook, find the flavours you love and research inspiring recipes. Follow the things that bring you true happiness. Your life will become your own creation and soon you will be living a life you are proud of. Every time you work on yourself, or make an effort to improve yourself, you are genuinely improving the lives of people who interact with you. As a collective of universal expression, when one person raises their frequency, it raises the frequency of all those around them.
Making the commitment to yourself is not just about saying you are going to do it, it has to involve the action and application of the choice. Only then can we feel the true satisfaction of ones good intentions. It does not work if there is only intention. Intention is good to begin with, but eventually there must be a commitment through action. A commitment of continued action. This is what is meant when I say that the path is not easy to begin with. Becoming accountable for oneself means that we are no longer able to blame our experience on external influences. All external influences are just a by-product of our own choices anyway.
Your are the creation of your reality. You create your reality. You create yourself. You are your own creator.
